J.P. Thibout Antique German Violin 1835
This is a full size violin labeled Jacques-Pierre Thibout, made in Paris France, 1835. This however, is not an authentic violin made by Thibout, and is most likely a German made copy. This was verified by the appraisal team at Tarisio.
This violin has some moderate signs of wear and tear as expected from an instrument of this age. It has been fully restored in our shop including our signature set up made by head luthier Andrés Bilva.
The violin has a very powerful clean, and neutral tone. There is a delightful maturity and complexity to the tonal character, and the instrument responds excellently and adapts to various changes in tonal colors.
