Martin Sheridan 2021 Guarneri del Gesù "Carrodus" Violin
Modeled after the instrument made in 1743 by Guarneri del Gesú and played by the English violinist John Tiplady Carrodus who owned it up until 1895, Sheridan's 2021 replica is a delight to play.
This violin has a wonderfully balanced tone throughout, solid projection with a clean and excellent response. It's equally suited for classical or fiddle music, as it responds effortlessly to the players intentions.
After some time spent in Mexico, double bass luthier Martin Sheridan has relocated to Fort Madison, Iowa where he makes and repairs violins, violas, cellos, double basses, and guitars.
