Taras Andrash, Ukraine 2023 Violin

Clear and focused, sweet and well-balanced. This bench made violin from the Ukrainian violin maker Taras Andrash is a beautiful instrument by every measure. 

Andrash studied at the Cremonese school of violin making, and is currently located in Galicia Sambir, Ukraine. This is the fourth instrument from him that we've had the pleasure to feature in our shop.  

Wood: Straight grained spruce top, lightly figured maple sides and back
Varnish: Modern Italian, Oil Based with Alcohol. Light brown color with yellow reflections. Gentle antiquing
Bridge: Aubert De Luxe
Fittings: Rosewood pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest
Strings: Thomastik Dominant Strings
